embody the magick

reboot your nervous system

perspectives from non conformist people that are upgrading the standards of the health-system that we deserve. whether our struggles are physical, emotional, mental or spiritual; they’re probably interconnected. so we might as-well be open to integral ways of medicine (and finally merge ancestral traditions with the latest science and evidence-based knowledge). i hope these will help you move forward, as much as they’re helping me. it’s time to feel whole and to enjoy having all our power back.

dr. arielle shwartz promotes a strenght-based embodied approach to trauma recovery that emphasizes self-driven healing (i’m a total supporter of people that help us connect to our own power). she developed her two careers (clinical psychologist and yoga instructor) at the same time as separate interests, and in 2008 she merged them into therapeutic yoga. she developed resilience informed therapy, an integrative model of care for facilitating recovery from childhood trauma, ptsd, complex-ptsd and dissociation; based on the principles of emdr, somatic psychology, mindfulness-based therapies, and relational psychotherapy. she’s a researcher, an author; offers courses, events, and my favourite: a monthly live vagus-nerve-yoga class (donation based, online via zoom) that she later upload to her youtube channel.

dr. ameet aggarwal’s integrative approach to health includes medicine, trauma healing and therapy to resolve mental health and chronic disease (i truly believe any chronic disease is beatable, so i’m very open to what this man has to say). he helps people overcome these by healing their biology, childhood trauma, and ancestral trauma. check the free masterclasses about several topics he offers on his website.

jessica maguire is a vagus nerve researcher and a physiotherapist. she believes that trauma is not only something we can heal from, but also that recovering brings emotional and spiritual transformation. (i endorse this!) she sees trauma as a powerful way of teaching us what’s important and where our purpose lies. that nervous system work builds healthier families and communities because it allows us to see ourselves and other people with deeper insight and understanding. so of course imma pay attention to the woman helping her community (and the world!) heal from inter-generational trauma, and help us feel safe and at home in our bodies again. she offers a free webinar and a nervous system certification course for therapists, coaches, practitioners, and facilitators. plus, reading her blog is a delight.

dr. fre recommends: belfast by orbital, “putting aside that orbital are pillars in the history of electronic music, this song is such a treat on how beautiful and blissful a song can be. the first ‘modern’ vinyl that i bought, which was surrounded by synchronicities. in the album they include the protocols of the journey listening to it; i leave you the first one: find a space in your room that feels like the answer to the question ‘are we here?’”

for 2026 we get to be as regulated as we can; so we can enjoy the changes, combat fascism and genocide, hold sacred space for others’ healing journey, and help create what we want to see more of in the world.

love you integrally,
mora (a.k.a. tiny villain)
