are you friends with your house?

and with your life?

ok, in recent times i’ve been applying to my life all that i’ve shared on my previous posts and i’ve been showered with manifestations all around: art and creative projects, romantic proposals, awesome times with my loved ones, new job opportunities, and an expansive state of mind. and if you’re reading this, for sure you have too. did you take time to notice? did you allow yourself to celebrate your small victories? did you see how the world around you is transformed as much as your energy allows it to? i hope so!

so today, i got you just one new tip: feng shui! (srsly, bruh)

feng shui is a kinda everyday magick and anyone can do it. it’s about being in harmony with our surroundings, as well as our connection with self and others. it is defined as the mindfulness practice to paying attention to the details of our spaces. its principles can be applied to our homes, but also to our life and our mindset.

this chinese tradition is over 4,000 years old. its name translates as wind and water (think of our breath 😮‍💨 and more than 60% of our bodies 😲). together, wind and water create motion. the words “feng shui” point to life-giving movement and flow. this is qi, the life-giving source. qi is the life-force energy and is the foundation and everyday magick of feng shui.

feng shui sees no separation between the outer environment and one’s inner being. our home influences us as much as we influence it. i love the potential of feng shui as healing and divination tools! what are the messages that are right in front of us that we miss every single day?

dr. fre recommends this week heart sutra song by laurie anderson: “i expanded my consciousness with this song (this is not an overstatement). i recommend you to listen to this whole record done with tibetan musician tenzin choegyal. and also give yourself the chance to check all laurie anderson broad art proposal. to me, she is a leonardo da vinci that has not had the recognition she deserves in this patriarchal society”.

trust me (and 4,000 years of tradition) on this one. check feng shui out, take it one room at a time, celebrate the small wins, and flow. remember that without movement, wind ceases to exist and water becomes stagnant and lifeless.

let the love flow on,
mora
